A WOMAN who was gored to death when a rampaging bull charged into packed festival stands has been pictured for the first time.
Leire San Pedro, 25, died in hospital after her at a traditional bull-running event in the northern .


Breaking through the barriers on Sunday, the murderous bull named Liberulo charged into the panicked crowd and struck Leire, tossing her into the air before she fell hard, landing on her hand.
She was rushed to hospital but later died from her injuries on Wednesday.
Leire, from Bilbao, was studying to become a teacher.
She was a keen follower of bull-related festivities and was a member of the cultural association linked to the Lodosa’s traditional bull-on-a-rope event.


The association tributed their young member saying she will always be in their hearts.
They wrote: “Your smile, your energy, the way you were always willing to help and take part in everything made wherever you were a little better.
“You had that ability to spread joy and fill every moment we shared with you with life.
“We are going to miss you enormously and it will be impossible not to think of you whenever we return to so many of those moments in which you were always present.
“We carry you, and will always carry you, within us, in our memories.”
Lodosa Town Council declared two days of mourning following Leire’s death, with flags on municipal buildings lowered to half-mast.
Officials said the town was facing a “sad and difficult day” and offered their condolences, solidarity and affection to her family and loved ones.
Another female spectator was also injured and taken to hospital following the incident.
The event is traditionally held in Lodosa as part of celebrations honouring the Virgin of Sorrows and involves a bull being controlled with ropes attached to its horns.
The festival has been recognised as an Event of Tourist Interest in Navarre since 2014.
Leire was the third person to die during bull festivities in Lodosa since 1993 and the second fatality linked to the town’s bull-on-a-rope event since 1968.
At a similar running with the bulls festival in southeastern Spain, in early September.

More recently, at a performer before a sudden power cut at a show near Madrid.
Sergio Reguera had been about to leap over the half-tonne beast when he was pinned beneath its horns.
The sudden power outage meant that the bull jumper had been unable to judge his perfectly timed trick.
Instead of flipping over the beast, Sergio was sent scrambling for cover as the raging bull tried to gore him in the dark.
