A WOMAN has been found dead after reports of a “serious disturbance” at a historic seaside town last night.
Emergency services scrambled to a house in Dartmouth, , at around 9.20pm, where a woman in her 40s was found dead.

A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital with facial injuries which are not believed to be life-changing.
A local man – who cops confirmed is a British national – in his 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
Devon and Cornwall said it’s not looking for any other suspects at the moment.
Detective Inspector Guy Biggar from the Major Team said: “We appreciate the concern this distressing incident may have caused with the local community but there is nothing to indicate a wider threat to the public.
“We would ask people not to speculate, particularly on social media, while we work to ascertain exactly what has happened.
“Our enquiries are at a very early stage, therefore it is too soon in the investigation to speculate on motivation.

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends who have lost a loved-one in tragic circumstances, and we will continue to support them through this difficult time.”
Locals said they had never seen such a large police response in the quiet town.
One neighbour said: “It was mayhem last night. Paramedics and police doing a fab job and thoughts and prayers with the victims.
“I’m shocked. I have never heard of anything like this in Dartmouth. My thoughts are with anyone caught up in this.”
Another local added: “I saw the helicopter and the fire engines coming out from the ferry.

“There were about five or more fire engines. It looked fairly unusual.”
One neighbour said: “It looked huge from the Kingswear side. I saw several ambulances, four fire engines and seven police cars plus the air ambulance between about 9.30 and 11, all racing along the embankment.
“I didn’t think we had so many resources.”
