WOKE Greens want to bring back RATIONING for things like meat, fuel and flying.

One plan calls for the Government to allocate dairy, meat and petrol to Brits in order to “drastically reduce consumption”.

A proposed motion says “rationing” will help drive down greenhouse emissions.

It says: “A Green Government will introduce a Fair Shares system for allocating meat and dairy foods, petrol and , and flying, to drastically reduce consumption, and thereby reduce the resulting greenhouse gas emissions.

“Each person to have entitlement to, but limited to a certain quantity of these high carbon goods and services during the transition to a zero-carbon economy.

“The amount of the fair share will diminish year on year until the targeted emissions reductions are achieved.”

Another proposed motion for the Green Party’s October conference calls for a 50 per cent reduction in animal in order to drastically cut meat and dairy consumption.

The policy proposal also calls for a ban on advertising and increased taxes to change consumer habits.

Tory Party chairman Kevin Hollinrake said: “Not content with defunding the police, legalising hard and banning , the Green Party now want to ration the meat you eat, the fuel you buy and the flights you take.

“Under cover of climate targets, the Green Party would hand the state control over what’s on your plate and whether you can visit family abroad. Allowances that shrink every single year, decided by ministers, not by you.

“Hard-working families deserve the freedom to make their own choices about their own lives. Only the Conservatives will defend that freedom against a Green Party lurching further into state control with every conference.”

A spokesperson for the Green Party said: “We received hundreds of motions from our members for this year’s conference but unfortunately we only have time to debate a few of them.”
