But for one group of friends the seemingly innocent activity turned into a horrifying experience for their neighbours.

Olivia Flowers, 33, took to TikTok after a went horribly wrong when fellow residents in the area saw of a raunchy film they were watching indoors.
According to the TV personality, from the US, they had decided to take the movie night to the next level with a projector – but little did they know it would be a grave error.
Together with her friends, Olivia (@ oliviabflowers ) came up with the idea to point the projector up against the window and place the screen right in front of it.
All of this would’ve been totally fine if they had watched something wholesome and family-friendly, such as the festive classics or .
However, this wasn’t the case – the group decided to follow the racy scenes of , the very same trilogy that saw after the books came out in 2011.
The movie is full of steamy moments that get the heart racing – including THAT scene where naked Christian Gray (played by ) is slowly crawling to Anastasia Steele (played by ).
The raunchy moment also sees the actor, now 43, seductively removing the button-up shirt he’s wearing, leaving very little to the imagination.
To make matters even worse, the group of pals were watching the movie when the street were filled with families and young kids – who were certainly taken aback by the shocking discovery.
Sharing the epic fail on TikTok, mortified Olivia said: “We thought we were upgrading movie night by using a projector up against the window.
“Didn’t realise we were also projecting a public screening of 50 Shades for the entire neighbourhood.
“Apologies to all the parents of trick or treaters that evening.”
Uploaded earlier this December, the clip has taken then internet by storm, racking up a whopping 2.3million views and leaving social media users in hysterics.
“Don’t mind me. Just grabbing a chair for the outdoor winter movies,” joked one.
“Glad y’all caught that before someone called the police,” a second chimed in.
Many, meanwhile, wanted to know the thought process behind it and how they hadn’t figured out the inevitable would happen.
“This is so funny because it looks sooo intentional, idk why you didn’t think this would happen,” a third said.
There were also plenty of those who shared their horror stories, with one writing: “I’ve done the exact same thing in college. Except my window was facing a church.”
