THE famous white tent is open for business once again, but for one hopeful baker, the dream has already crumbled.
Week 2 of (September 29) brought Biscuit Week and .
But who was the first to pack up their rolling pin, and who rose to the occasion? Here is everything you need to know about last night’s episode.
Who left Bake Off last night?
Danni became after failing to impress the judges during a tricky Biscuit Week.
The HGV service centre administrator struggled from the start.
She chose a recipe that , meaning she was unable to taste-test her cookies before serving them up to the judges.
The oversight earned her stern words from both Paul and Nigella.
But things went from bad to worse during the mosaic show-stopper challenge.
While presenting her final bake, Danni raised eyebrows by joking about using cyanide as a flavouring.
Despite the early exit, the amateur baker remained positive about her short-lived time on the show.
Speaking after her elimination, Danni said: “Thank you so much, it’s been so lovely, it has!
“Oh my goodness, I am really happy that I was the first one out because I know everyone in there has more skills than me.
“But I think I’ve learned something about myself, which is that in the right circumstances I can make quite a few friends.
“Finding love in a group of strangers – that’s just beautiful.”
Describing her most memorable moment of the episode, she said: “It was probably accidentally spraying my Bog Water all over Gary while blending down my greens.
“Poor Gary, I hope he didn’t get too bogged down.”
Reflecting on her departure, Danni added: “The writing was on the wall for me, so this wasn’t a surprise at all!
“Of all the bakers there I was easily the weakest, which isn’t bad at all – it means I have 11 other people to bug about baking questions now whenever I want!”
Who won Star Baker?
While Danni struggled, Yorkshire hairdresser Tom had a much better week.
His bakes and cool composure earned him the coveted title of Star Baker.

With Danni waving goodbye, 11 bakers remain in the running to take home the coveted glass cake stand.
