The huge change to the app comes as a boost to mobile users and also has several other exciting features.

The new service is currently in its testing phase

According to WABetaInfo , a new version of the WhatsApp beta in Apple’s TestFlight programme has become available.

TestFlight is a service which allows companies to test beta or unfinished versions of their apps, so they can get feedback from users.

The new iteration of the WhatsApp beta, titled version 25.22.10.74, has an incredible function named Private Writing Help Assistant.

This impressive feature can double check your spelling, shorten your messages, make them more formal or even rewrite them completely – just like ChatGPT.

It works with Private Processing, a Meta service which ensures that your messages can’t be accessed.

According to WABetaInfo, the suggestions vanish after delivery.

A spokesperson for the brand said: “The system ensures that all suggestions are generated in real time and vanish after delivery, leaving no trace.

“This allows WhatsApp to improve the messaging experience while maintaining complete user control over their data.”

Currently, the AI service is in the same menu as stickers and GIFs.

WhatsApp haven’t confirmed when they will launch the feature though, since it is still in the testing phase.

WhatsApp bans MILLIONS of users in major crackdown amid safety alert

The Private Writing Help Assistant serves as Meta’s response to a feature available on most iPhones, iPads and Macs.

Apple Intelligence allows users to generate text, emojis and images.

However, Meta apps don’t support this feature prompting them to create their own.

The news comes after Whatsapp users were urged to not ignore a new alert designed to help them avoid scams.

The alert will appear whenever a user is added to a new group chat.

A “safety overview” will appear which will include information about the group.

Everything from the group’s creator, the person invited you and the number of members will be included in the alert.

The move is part of Meta’s ongoing efforts to crack down on online scams.
