THE wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner has been shot by police and arrested after pointing a handgun at armed cops.
Jillian Lauren is accused of aiming the weapon at officers who swiftly opened fire and downed the wife in the middle of the street, according to a police press release.

Jillian Lauren, the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, has been booked for attempted murderCops were quickly alerted to news of a hit-and-run on Tuesday involving three suspects who fled from the scene of a freeway crash, according to an LAPD press release.
As officers searched for the suspects, they found Jillian, 51, stood outside her home holding a handgun.
Police said they yelled at her to drop the gun “numerous times”; – but she refused.
