President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration will continue to make progress, strengthen security infrastructure and eventually, overcome terrorism.

The President spoke on Saturday during the commissioning of 80 security vehicles, the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, two newly acquired aircraft under Gateway Air, tractors and 1,000 electric bikes under the Ogun state EV mobility initiative, among others.

Tinubu noted that the Ogun State government’s focus on mobility, security, and agriculture reflected a shift toward innovation and improved daily life.

According to him, strengthening security infrastructure reinforces his administration’s resolve to protect lives and property.

“I am particularly pleased with the focus on mobility, security, and agriculture. The introduction of modern transportation solutions, including new vehicles, reflects a shift toward innovation and improved daily life.

“Strengthening security infrastructure reinforces our resolve to protect lives and property. We will overcome violence and terrorism.

“I assure you that we will continue to make progress. Nigeria is determined to be great, and we are firmly on the path to achieving that greatness once again” the President said.

He also commended all those contributing to national development, saying “your efforts will go a long way”.

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, lauded the President for his handling of the nation’s economy, explaining that the projects reflect his administration’s efforts to improve infrastructure.

He added that it is evidence of a resolve to build a more prosperous Ogun State while contributing meaningfully to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
