ENA’s upcoming drama “The Defects”; has released a highlight teaser!
In “The Defects,”; Yum Jung Ah plays Kim Se Hee, a celebrity doctor who is outwardly respected in the medical field but secretly leads an illegal adoption trafficking ring. Won Jin Ah plays Kim Ah Hyun, a young woman who was returned after being adopted through a broken system, but miraculously survived.
Dex plays Jung Hyun, a human weapon raised in the shadows by Kim Se Hee, and Choi Young Joon stars as Woo Tae Sik, a subordinate in Kim Se Hee’s illegal adoption trafficking ring who secretly rescues and protects children who have been returned.
The highlight video gives a glimpse of the clash between the “returned”; children and the illegal adoption cartel run by Kim Se Hee, a woman driven by a twisted belief that “only superior genes deserve to survive.”;
In one scene, Kim Se Hee reveals her true nature as the embodiment of pure evil by saying, “I need a perfect daughter. A child who will make me shine.”; She relentlessly exploits the hidden weaknesses of Jung Hyun, whom she raised as a human weapon, manipulating him down to his core.
After barely surviving a tragic incident with the help of Woo Tae Sik, Ah Hyun faces a harsh reality and resolves to take revenge alongside the other “returned”; children, leading a counterattack against those trying to eliminate the surviving children.
