A BBC presenter was left red-faced after mistakenly reading out a VERY cheeky email from a viewer.

The telly fan had directed her affections to BBC Look North weatherman Paul Hudson, who admitted he was “lost for words”; at their message.

Paul admitted he was ‘lost for words’ at the message about him being ‘face up’

The banter between Paul and regional show anchor Peter Levy kicked off following the programme’s regular segment, Leave It To Levy.

After Peter told viewers how they could get in touch, Pul couldn’t resist reading an email about his co-star’s pale summer suit.

He said a viewer had written in to ask: “Can you ask Peter if he’s umpiring a cricket match straight after Look North.”;

Paul then giggled and said: “There we are. I could go on Peter,”; to which the newsreader admitted: “Yeah you can go on, that’s the problem.

“I have nothing to say, just get it out of your system.”;

After Paul read the sun-soaked weather forecast, Peter clearly appeared eager to get his own back for the cricket quip.

He pulled out a cue card and said: “Ann Yates says ‘I would love to have Paul face upwards’ ...”; before spluttering into laughter.

His face turned red quickly as he added: “Hang on hang on,”; before being left unable to speak because of his giggles.

Paul, also letting out a smirk, confessed: “I am actually lost for words so carry on.”;

Peter then confessed the x-rated nature of the message and said: “No I’ve just read the next line, I can’t do it.”;

Fans on X were quick to react, with one remarking on Peter’s red cheeks as they said: “The change in pallor is killing me.”;

Another put: “So funny. Nothing too untoward in it. That’s what makes Peter and Paul great.”;

A third mused: “That was so funny.”;

One then quizzed: “What was the next line though?”;

DREAM DUO

It isn’t the first time the pair have showcased their banter on the daily show.

Last year, they lost it after

The show host read out a letter from a woman living in East Yorkshire who was ostensibly asking him a question about our feathered friends.

Peter shared: “A letter here from Winnifred. She says, ‘You may not be an ornithologist, however I wondered if your viewers have noticed the rapid disappearance of thrush from the – gardens.'”;

The presenter paused, realising this might be a play on words, and began to chuckle before continuing.

“‘Since I moved to East Yorkshire I have not seen one thrush.’ So, there we are.”;

His reaction insinuates that the woman was referring to the fungal infection thrush, rather than the bird, and the so-called gardens might be a lady’s genitalia.

With a big grin on his face Paul responded: “It’s interesting. I’ve got a lot of blue tits in my garden, but I’ve not heard the song thrush either Peter.”;

An embarrassed Peter refused to participate in the double entendre, protesting: “I am going. I will leave you to have a nice evening. You so know what you’re doing.”;

Paul also left Peter following a technical blunder on the live show.

A recent also took a very cheeky turn.
