The upcoming weekend drama “Our Golden Days” has shared a new teaser!
“Our Golden Days” is a generational family drama built around the idea that everyone has their own golden era-be it in the past, present, or future. The story explores how people encounter and reflect on those meaningful moments in life.
The newly released teaser highlights the struggles of Lee Ji Hyuk ( Jung Il Woo ) and his family, who all become unemployed overnight. Ji Hyuk, the eldest son, boldly hands in his resignation; his younger brother Lee Ji Wan ( Son Sang Yeon ) is laid off, the youngest sibling Lee Soo Bin (Shin Soo Hyun) is practically unemployed, and their father Lee Sang Chul ( Chun Ho Jin ) has just retired.
The teaser also shows Ji Hyuk doing manual labor, Sang Chul revising his resume, and Ji Wan and Soo Bin finding their own ways to make a living.
Kim Da Jung ( Kim Hee Jung ) and Jo Ok Rye ( Ban Hyo Jung ) are also featured in the teaser. One scene shows Da Jung walking the streets in tears, while another features Ok Rye looking at a job flyer stating that recruitment is also open to senior citizens.
At the end of the video, Ji Hyuk is shown standing on a bridge, saying, “I don’t want to live like this.” His troubled expression and effort to suppress his emotions heighten curiosity about the hardships to come.
