MBC’s new drama “Woman Who Swallowed the Sun”;; has unveiled another gripping teaser ahead of its premiere!
Starring Jang Shin Young, Seo Ha Joon, Yoon Ah Jung, and Oh Chang Suk, “Woman Who Swallowed the Sun”;; follows the intense journey of a woman seeking revenge against a powerful conglomerate family.
The newly released teaser video opens with Baek Seol Hee (Jang Shin Young) walking across the street with a blank, expressionless face, just before she is nearly hit by a car. Her lifeless gaze and demeanor suggest she has lost all will to live, with only overwhelming frustration remaining.
In a scene that follows, Seol Hee confronts Kim Sun Jae (Oh Chang Suk), demanding, “Why does the truth have to be buried?”;; However, Sun Jae furiously responds, “The truth is whatever those people create—not someone powerless like you.”;; Their intense exchange hints at a complex backstory and a truth waiting to be uncovered.
Meanwhile, Min Kyung Chae (Yoon Ah Jung) is shown exuding confidence and charisma as a successful entrepreneur on stage, while Moon Tae Kyung (Seo Ha Joon), who returns as the head of Minkang Retail’s new business department after overcoming a traumatic childhood, reveals his unrestrained fury and burning desire for revenge. The appearance of Min Doo Sik (Jeon No Min), president of Minkang Group, adds another layer of tension, raising questions about how all the characters are interconnected.
As the teaser draws to a close, Seol Hee is slapped across the face by Kyung Chae. On the verge of exploding with rage and sorrow, she narrates, “Just watch. I’ll uncover everything.”;; Her words mark the beginning of a desperate journey of revenge against those who shattered her once-happy life.
