i-dle is coming back to “Knowing Bros”;; (“Ask Us Anything”;;)!
On May 17, the popular JTBC variety show aired a sneak peek of its next episode, which will feature a guest appearance by all five members of i-dle.
The preview begins with the “Knowing Bros”;; cast congratulating i-dle on renewing their contracts with Cube Entertainment as a full group. Referring to their recent name change from (G)I-DLE to i-dle, Jeon Soyeon says, “We recently held a funeral for the ‘G.’”;;
The i-dle members also candidly talk about their decision to renew their contracts. Yuqi confesses, “I received a lot of offers from other companies. To be honest, there were moments when I wavered.”;; After hearing that Shuhua met with a lawyer on her own, Lee Soo Geun teasingly remarks, “So Shuhua was totally preparing to leave.”;; Shuhua cracks everyone up by coolly responding, “Yes, I really was.”;;
Minnie then shares a story of a time when she texted Soyeon because she was “slightly unhappy”;; about the part distribution for a song. Super Junior’s Kim Heechul jokes that Minnie must have gotten on Soyeon’s bad side, and Minnie goes on to playfully point out, “Every time I sang the opening part for a song, it was a hit.”;;
After performing a medley of their hits, i-dle plays various games with the “Knowing Bros”;; cast members, and things eventually get chaotic.
