Dressed in black and holding her war hero husband’s medals, Christina Schmid became a symbol of courage for the individuals who made sacrifices during the War on Terror.
However, last October, 15 years after the loss of her husband Olaf, the war widow was convicted of a series of abusive actions towards her new partner, Adam Plumb, who has now shared distressing footage of her “alcohol-fueled rage” with the public.

He reveals the extent of the abuse he endured from Christina, who he claims “deceived the nation” and later sold her late husband’s war medal.
Property developer Adam Plumb, 44, had a successful career and believed he had found the perfect partner when he fell for the well-known war pension campaigner Christina Schmid.
Adam, then a divorced father-of-one, first met Christina, 50, in late 2018 when he brought his springer spaniels to her dog-grooming salon in .
Their relationship progressed rapidly, and despite Adam's last-minute hesitations about the wedding, they married in an intimate ceremony at Bovey Castle, , in October 2020.
After expressing that the £16k engagement ring he purchased was “insufficient” for Christina, he subsequently bought a £1.5 million mansion for his wife the following year.
Adam thought this purchase marked the start of a promising future for the couple, but he soon found himself trapped in a “nightmare” of abuse that left him financially devastated and forced out of their dream home.
He told The Sun: “What I don’t understand is that Christina could have divorced me, and we could have walked away with £800k each – but she wanted to ruin everything.
“There was no reason for her to want to destroy and harm me; it was to her own detriment.
“She would say and do anything to fit any situation, so you never really knew what was genuine or who she truly was. She not only deceived me, but she deceived the entire nation.”
Christina, whose husband died while defusing a bomb in 2009, became the face of war widows from the Afghanistan conflict and interacted with royalty and senior politicians as part of her advocacy.
She campaigned for improved Army pay and received his George Cross from the late Queen.
However, her reputation was severely damaged when she received a 12-week suspended sentence for physically assaulting her second husband, Adam, and his teenage daughter, at their home.
Adam, who is currently finalizing a divorce from Christina, stated that after the case, he wanted to release the shocking footage to reveal what his wife was “truly like”.

In the videos shown in court, Schmid is seen poking and grabbing Adam while yelling in a “booze-fueled rage”.
She is depicted cutting her nose with her own nail and blowing the blood onto Adam’s t-shirt, before falsely accusing him of assaulting her.
