WAFU B Women’s Champions League: Bayelsa Queens thrash ASKO to reach semi-finals

Bayelsa Queens are through to the semi-finals of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League after a 3-0 victory over Togo’s ASKO on Wednesday.

After a goalless first half, the Prosperity Girls struck in the second through an Oumou Bani own goal, Alaba Olabiyi, and Shakirat Moshood.

Moshood has now scored two goals in the competition.

The Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL champions, are currently top of Group B with six points from two games.

The Prosperity Girls had earlier defeated Ghana’s Police Ladies 2-1 in their opening game on Sunday.

They will face Sam Nelly of Benin Republic in their final group match on Saturday.
