President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has saluted the Super Falcons of Nigeria for securing a place in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Falcons booked a spot in the final of the biennial competition after a hard-earned 2-1 win over defending champions Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade and Michelle Alozie were on target for the Super Falcons in the thrilling encounter.
The Super Falcons put an end to South Africa’s 15-game unbeaten run in the competition.
Justine Madugu’s side now have one game standing between them and a 10th WAFCON title.
Tinubu praised the players for their fighting spirit.

The Super Falcons will face either Morocco or Ghana in the final in Rabat on Saturday.
