Lynne said that she was putting her Vinted page onto holiday mode, and had to use her desktop computer to do so.
“I don’t really use the desktop for things like this,” she said.
“And I remember there’s a section called ‘Invite Friends’.
“Now, if you go onto your profile picture and then you go down from profile, the one that says Invite Friends and there’s a section that says you

“Or who, like my husband, doesn’t use it because he knows that I purchase on it.
“So he does now! I’ve set him up and he’s loading some bits (on).”
People quickly commented on the video, with one writing: “Brill idea!”
“Signing my mum up as we speak,” another laughed.
Top tips on selling on Vinted, including how to ‘bump’ items for free
VINTED whizz Rose Claire took to YouTube to share her top tips for making sales on the site.
Here are the reseller’s for raking in sales…
Bumping Items For Free
To bump items to the top of the search results on Vinted you have to pay a fee.
However, Rose revealed that there is a simple way to get around this.
She explained that if an item hasn’t sold you can simply delete the listing and then re-upload it again.
As Vinted shows items in the list that they are uploaded, the re-uploaded items will appear at the top of the search feed.
White Background
Rose revealed that when taking pictures of items, you should always make sure to use a white or plain background.
“Don’t use anything colourful or that’s hard to digest visually”, she said.
She also makes sure that there are absolutely no creases or ruffles in her clothes and takes pictures in bright lighting to show off the items as best she can.
“I think the more pictures the better”, she added.
Accurate Description
To get the most accurate description of the items, Rose tries to find the original listing of the products on the websites she bought them from.
This way, she can use as many keywords as possible in the description.
“I recommend saying everything you can in the description”, she said.
“Just fill it out.”
“I’m sure u can only have one account per household?” a third questioned.
“No it’s just a different phone number and email,” Lynne replied.
“My boys and husband all have one too.”
