If you have any of these in your wardrobe – or spot any in your local shop – they could be worth considering putting up, according to the social media user.

In a clip on her @jennawardddd7 account, she shared that the first type of item that does well is a branded polo short.

Jenna explained: “It doesn’t have to be like your Ralph Lauren, your Tommy Hilfiger, your more expensive ones.

“Even just like polo shirts and things like that that people can wear to like tennis and golf and other sports, they sell so well.

“Obviously if you can pick up a Ralph Lauren one or whatever, then yes, that’s gonna sell even better, but any polo shirts that are branded do sell really well.

“I also picked up a couple of crew clothing ones and they sold really well as well, and I think I only paid £1 each for them or something.”

Vintage tops

Jenna shared how she manages to turn a profit for ladies’ vintage tops on her shop.

She continued: “Now I know people have a massive niche for this and somehow they sell vintage tops for like £20 or £30.

“I don’t get that much for them, but I do manage to pick them up a lot of the time for just £1 and I can get between like £8 to £12 back for them, and they always sell really well. “Probably because I’m pricing them a million times lower than other people – preferably ones with any sort of beaded or embroidered pattern. They sell really well.”

Cardigans or jackets

With coming to an end and around the corner, Jenna advised that layering pieces – like thin jackets or cardigans – are proving popular.

She added: “To be honest, they sell well all the way through the year.

“Like in in the UK, you still most of the time want a little cardigan or something over the top, and even in the winter you can obviously layer them with a bigger coat.

“Any sort of lightweight jackets, even like the waterproof ones, they sell well.”

Jenna also gave some advice for helping items to sell.

For photos, she suggested: “Stick to bright natural daylight if possible. Stick to black or white hangers, and against light backgrounds where possible.”

The Vinted whizz also advised against pricing items too low, and explained: “It sounds odd, but when prices are low, buyers sometimes think something is wrong with it.

People were quick to comment on her three items, and give their views.

One said: “Good margins there!”

Another added: “Summer jumpsuits, strappy dresses, maxi items, are doing well for me.”

Top tips on selling on Vinted, including how to ‘bump’ items for free

VINTED whizz Rose Claire took to YouTube to share her top tips for making sales on the site.

Here are the reseller’s for raking in sales…

Bumping Items For Free

To bump items to the top of the search results on Vinted you have to pay a fee.

However, Rose revealed that there is a simple way to get around this.

She explained that if an item hasn’t sold you can simply delete the listing and then re-upload it again.

As Vinted shows items in the list that they are uploaded, the re-uploaded items will appear at the top of the search feed.

White Background

Rose revealed that when taking pictures of items, you should always make sure to use a white or plain background.

“Don’t use anything colourful or that’s hard to digest visually”, she said.

She also makes sure that there are absolutely no creases or ruffles in her clothes and takes pictures in bright lighting to show off the items as best she can.

“I think the more pictures the better”, she added.

Accurate Description

To get the most accurate description of the items, Rose tries to find the original listing of the products on the websites she bought them from.

This way, she can use as many keywords as possible in the description.

“I recommend saying everything you can in the description”, she said.

“Just fill it out.”
