The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has dismissed the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Dr. Julie C. Onyeukwu.

This dismissal was announced in a press statement released by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

The Commissioner indicated that the Governor has approved the immediate suspension of the Chairman.

The suspended Chairman has been instructed to transfer all Government property in her possession to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior official in the commission.
