US President, Donald Trump, on Friday warned investors pushing money into the United States that his policies would never change.

Trump's warning is coming as global stock markets tumbled for a second day following his announced tariff plan and China's retaliatory measures.

In a post via his Truth Social media account, Trump said: “To the many investors coming into the United States and investing massive amounts of money, my policies will never change.

“This is a great time to get rich, richer than ever before!!!”.

He added: “Great job numbers, far better than expected. It’s already working. Hang tough, we can’t lose!!!”;

Meanwhile, markets are expected to fall further on Friday after China announced it would retaliate against Trump’s tariffs.
