This is the moment the US destroyed a drug-smuggling submarine off the coast of Venezuela, eliminating two "narcoterrorists."
Trump celebrated the operation online, stating it was a "great honor" to destroy the submarine, which was reportedly "carrying mostly fentanyl."

Footage shared by the President on Truth Social shows the large submarine crashing just beneath the ocean's surface.
An explosion erupts from the water as precision weapons strike the vessel.
It is engulfed in a second explosion moments later, leaving no trace behind.
The submarine bombing coincides with Venezuela’s dictatorship preparing for a confrontation off its coast.
Trump stated: "There were four known narco-terrorists on board the vessel. Two of the terrorists were killed."
He also claimed that "at least 25,000 Americans would die if I had allowed this submarine to reach shore."
The two survivors will be returned to their home countries, Ecuador and Colombia, where they will be detained and prosecuted, according to the President.
No US troops were harmed during the operation.
Although the footage has just been released, Trump boasted about the operation during his meeting with Ukraine’s President Zelensky yesterday.
He mentioned that the target was carrying "massive amounts of drugs."
He added: "Just to clarify, this was not an innocent group of individuals."
Analysts monitoring the strike observed the two survivors floating in the water amidst the wreckage, as reported by the New York Times .
They had assessed prior to the strike that the submarine was loaded with drugs.
The survivors were reportedly rescued by Navy and Coast Guard helicopters and taken to a ship equipped with medical facilities.

They were reportedly unharmed during the operation, according to two sources familiar with the situation, as stated by the Washington Post .
It remains unclear whether they have connections to Venezuelan criminal organizations.
This week, Trump announced the deployment of 10,000 US troops, nuclear-capable bombers, and America’s elite special operations unit — the "Night Stalkers" — to the waters off Venezuela.
He is intensifying the fight against the powerful drug cartels, which he claims are supported by Venezuela’s dictator Nicolás Maduro.
The Caribbean is now bracing for its most explosive confrontation in decades as Maduro prepares his country for war and vows to resist any US attack.
