PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have been given an extra dressing room for the Uefa Super Cup after complaining about the facilities they were initially offered.

The holders were unhappy with the facilities offered to them ahead of the match against winners on Wednesday.

They were given the away dressing room at Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, Austria, but told officials in a meeting on Monday that it was too small.

The French giants allegedly wanted the same size space as Villa – who were allocated the home dressing room – especially considering they are the reigning Super Cup winners.

But instead, Uefa gave them a spare dressing room to make things equal.

That spare dressing room is normally used by the officials.

However, it’s understood that no match officials were moved to accommodate the request.

PSG go into the match as Super Cup holders after last year.

The Ligue 1 side also on penalties in May.

Ahead of the match, boss said: “I feel like the club is in a new era, with this possibility to fight for trophies.

“We’re trying to be successful through, firstly, [building] a winning team, and then aiming for the positive consequences after it: winning trophies.

“To play the UEFA Super Cup is another opportunity to be there, the opportunity to win a trophy, to play against Paris Saint-Germain – the [best] team in the world now and another team we can compare with.”
