NORWICH airport has shut due to an “incident” on the runway this morning.
The travel hub has confirmed it will remain closed until 12.30pm after “an incident” on the airfield.

Emergency services including cops, ambulances and fire crews scrambled to the scene.
Passengers are being advised to contact their airline before travelling to the airport.
The nature of the incident and the extent of any injuries remain unknown.
One holidaymaker told Norwich Evening News : “We could tell something was wrong, we heard ‘crash! crash!’ over the radios.
“We went outside to have a look.
“The propellers on the plane looked bent, it did not look like there was any landing gear down.”
A 9.40am flight to Amsterdam was cancelled, reported the outlet.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said: “We were called to reports of an incident at Norwich Airport at 8.41am.
“We were briefly deployed before being stood down.”
