DANA WHITE has sent a message of support to former UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy following news of him being shot in the Congo.
It was revealed last week that the former U.S. Army soldier and retired had been during a private contracting gig.

Vectus Global hired Kennedy and other ex-military to work “on an operation to protect mining revenues, combat smuggling and collect taxes for the Congolese government.”
But on September 17, they were on the receiving end of an ambush the Congolese government believes was orchestrated by Rwandan-backed rebels.
Kennedy was during the ordeal, which left 20 people injured or killed.
The 47-year-old was repatriated to the United States and was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland for treatment.
And upon learning the details of Kennedy’s hospitalisation, was quick to offer his well wishes.
He said: “Jesus Christ. I wish him well.”
White was completely oblivious to the news prior to reporters informing him at the final post-fight press conference of this season of ‘s Contenders Series.
He said: “I don’t know anything about that. But obviously I hope that he heals up and recovers.”

Kennedy has yet to issue an update on his condition, which has led to unverified social media speculation surrounding his health.
But according to Republican politician Derrick Van Orden, the veteran is on the mend.
The former NAVY SEAL wrote on X earlier this week: “I just spoke to my dear friend @TimKennedyMMA.
“That means he is not dead and that means I am thankful.
“I am asking everyone to pray for his healing and that his wonderful family find Peace.
“In no way, shape, or form, does this change my position.
“GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY!”
