Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer, has claimed that the three goals they conceded against Bayern Munich were down to their errors.

The Blues began their Champions League campaign with a disappointing 3-1 loss at the Allianz Arena.

Trevor Chalobah’s own goal and a Harry Kane penalty gave Bayern a two-goal lead, before Cole Palmer pulled one back.

Kane then scored a third to make sure the Bundesliga champions took all three points.

Palmer, speaking to DAZN, said: “I thought we played well.

“We’ve shown we deserve to play here. The three goals we conceded were our own fault. We had chances.

“We broke them down well but some chances we missed. They’re a good team. We deserved better than what we got.”
