TV100 commentator and Turkish journalist, Haluk Yürekli has suggested that there is a possibility that Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen might play with an injection against Juventus in the Champions League Round of 16 playoff second-leg tie on Wednesday.
Osimhen missed Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Lig 2-0 defeat to Konyaspor at the weekend due to injury.
The Nigerian international played against Juventus in the first leg last week as they won 5-2.
“Osimhen didn’t go to Konya because of a meniscus problem, but because of knee pain,” Yürekli said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“He was rested because there is a possibility he might play in the Juventus match. Most likely, he will be in the starting eleven for the Juventus match.
“There is also a possibility he might play with an injection there,” he said.
