UCL: Gary Lineker names two clubs to play final

Published on May 03, 2025 at 07:08 AM

Former England striker, Gary Lineker has named the two clubs to play in the final of the UEFA Champions League this season.

Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Inter Milan are in the Champions League semi-final stage.

The Gunners were beaten 1-0 against PSG in the first leg in mid-week, while Barcelona and Inter Milan played a 3-3 draw.

However, Lineker believes Barcelona and PSG will play in the Champions League final at the end of the month in Germany.

“[Barcelona vs PSG], I think that is what it will be – not with any great confidence,”; Lineker said on The Rest is Football podcast.

“I don’t think Arsenal are completely out of it, but obviously it’s a tough ask for them to go there to with a relatively young side... well, “young side”;, look at Barcelona’s.

“Barcelona vs Inter could be anything, but I could not go against that Barca team. The way they play it’s incredible.

“I’d like to see Arsenal vs Barca, that is what I’d like to see cause I’m a supporter of English football.”;
