Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has heaped praises on Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi, saying the Argentine captain is in frightening form this season.
Henry said that most defenders get confused marking Messi because the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner always seems less interested at the start of a game.
The Frenchman and Messi played together during their time at Barcelona.
Speaking to American sports website, El Futbolero US ahead of PSG’s Champions League match with Juventus on Wednesday night, Henry said, “Most defenders get confused because Lionel Messi always seems less interested at the start of games and then he changes the pace.
“I have played with him for a couple of years, and this season, Messi is in frightening form.”
Messi has scored 12 goals and registered 13 assists in all competitions for PSG so far this season.
