Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika is confident his move to Belgian Pro League champions, Club Brugge, will make him a better player.
Onyedika moved to Club Brugge from Danish SuperLiga club, FC Midtylland this summer.
The 21-year-old has already established himself at the club.
The former FC Ebedei player played a key role as Club Brugge defeated Atletico Madrid 2-0 on Tuesday night.
“Club are the best team in Belgium. It is the right step for me, I can improve here,” Onyedika told Voetbal Nieuws.
“I am one hundred percent sure I escaped a tough life. Without football, I don’t know how we would have survived.”
Club Brugge will face Atletico Madrid in the reverse fixture of their UEFA Champions League next Wednesday.
