And the Gypsy King has been preparing out in Thailand – where he was
Fury admitted he is 20 STONE and plans to drop back down to his optimum fighting weight of 19st.
And dad John will be there to help after criticising his son’s physique.
He told Goldstar Promotions: “He’s not in fantastic shape, that’s bulls***. But he will be.
“Have another look at him, because when I go out in the next week, there will be no more of this internet bull****, every move on the internet.
“Head down, work, and get a body. Learn to move again. Learn to twist and be awkward. Herky jerky.
“Look like a fighter, man. Look like a warrior. He’ll look like a f***ing Spartan by April, and he will be heavyweight champion of the world again.
“It does matter. It f***ing does matter. If it’s muscle, it does not matter.
“If it is fat, it matters. Anybody will tell you that. But listen, we know where we are going.
“I know where he went wrong. I know. And we are going to put it right.
“And if I’m wrong, I’ll walk through London, main street, with no trousers on and I’ll eat out a f***ing donkey.”
John was in the corner the night suffered defeat for the first time – losing a tight decision to in May 2024.
But the father was not in the camp for Fury’s rematch seven months later – which he again lost on points to spark his retirement.
Fury is now back however, and had to fend off fears over his current shape.
He told his fans on Instagram: “Working very hard for this return – the Gypsy King is not taking this lightly, whatsoever.
“I’ve had a few comments, I’m looking a bit hench, chubby, fat. Well, welcome to my world, never been any different.
“I beat everybody with a fat belly, never been any different. It’s never made any odds before, why should it make any odds today?
“I’m weighing about 20 stone at the moment. I’ll probably get down to about, under 19 maybe, for the comeback. Nice and loose and fast.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been away for a while, but I’m back now.
“I’ve had a year out and, if I box in the first quarter, it could be up to 16 months out the ring.
“So it’s a long time for a man 37 years old, 38 this year. So let’s see if I’ve still got it!”
Fury is expected to return around April time – potentially in Manchester – with
Newly-crowned WBO champion Fabio Wardley, 31,, 37, next year also.
