ENGLAND manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed why he once again left rip at Djed Spence at the World Cup.
Tuchel was fuming with the full-back in the first half of Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Ghana while he also shouted at the Tottenham defender to “wake up” in training ahead of the second match.

Spence replaced Nico O’Reilly at left-back in Boston but got it in the neck in the first half.
Tuchel said: “I wanted him to be more engaged in the attacking phase. To start our attacks a bit wider and to have more runs through the last line.
“Overall, it was his first start for in a major tournament and I always put it into perspective. I have to scream because nobody hears me otherwise. It’s all good with Djed.
“We brought on O’Reilly and it almost paid off with a header and a big chance for Harry.”
defender O’Reilly hit the woodwork while skipper wasted a good chance to grab the winner.
Tuchel also revealed that , who has been suffering with an Achilles issue, could start his first game of the World Cup against Panama,
The Three Lions boss said: “He seems to be more and more ready, and will hopefully push for it.
“He’s getting there and he needs to have more sessions now. He has two sessions to be ready for Panama.
“It’s not only about Bukayo but it was good he got some minutes under his belt. Hopefully there is no reaction and he is good to go.”
Tuchel also stressed that he does not regret England’s base in Kansas City.
The team had a three hour, 30 minute flight back to Kansas City on Tuesday evening and tomorrow (FRIDAY) the squad will have a three hour trip to New Jersey.
Other teams are travelling a lot less but Tuchel said: “We didn’t want to change hotels, and we didn’t want to do the venue hopping, we wanted to have a base, and this is for us the most, the most valuable point, and that’s why it’s like it.”
