Now, the final moments in Wednesday’s episode revealed what the twist was.
The Islanders received a text to gather together at the fire pit, and soon found out the public had been voting for the first time this series.
The viewers had been voting on their favourite boy and girl, and chose Lorenzo and Ellie.
But their happiness at the vote was short-lived, as another text revealed the three girls and three boys who had received the lowest votes and were at risk of leaving the villa.

The decision on which boy and girl to leave came down to viewer favourites, Ellie and Lorenzo
From the boys, it was Simba, Tommy and Aidan, and for the girls it was Lola, Priya and Tina.
It was then left up to Lorenzo and Ellie to choose one boy and one girl to send home, with viewers having to wait until tomorrow night to find out who they pick.
While we have chosen not to reveal the ID’s of the two islanders who were chosen, we did provide a few clues earlier on Wednesday.
A source said: “The boy that left the villa is a controversial bombshell and the girl will be remembered for her furious scenes.
“Fans were thrilled to have their say for the first time this series but there is a twist in how the votes play out which will make for brilliant television.
“Everyone will be glued to the big reveal, with the scenes to play out in coming days.”
