“I figured this was a good crowd because I know you people. You’re really into that. I don’t know if I am,” Trump said.
He confirmed the Pentagon would begin to publish the documents relating to and unexplained aerial phenomena “very, very soon”.
Teasing some of the findings, Trump said: “We found many very interesting documents, I must say. And the first releases will begin very, very soon.
“So you can go out and see if that phenomena is correct. You’ll figure it out. Let me know.”
Trump’s comments come as interest in unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAPs, continues to grow in Washington.
Earlier this month that insiders claim show convincing evidence that advanced, non-human craft are operating on earth.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna requested the long list of videos which are currently held by the Department of War.
In a letter from April 1 addressed to Secretary Pete Hegseth, Luna said the presence of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena “in and around the sensitive airspaces of installations poses a threat to the security of the armed forces and their readiness”.
With titles including “Several UAP in vicinity of Columbus OH airport” and “UFOs in formation over Persian Gulf”, insiders who have seen the videos said the clips were shocking.
The letter followed hearings by the House task force in September where whistle blowers testified that the Department of War possessed video records of UAPs.
In February Trump said he would direct his Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to “identify” and “release” the secret files.
“Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump’s decision to release the files came after his predecessor Barack Obama sent the media into a spin by declaring that “aliens are real” on a podcast interview with Bryan Tyler Cohen.
“Are aliens real?” Cohen asked in a quickfire round of questions.
“They’re real but I haven’t seen them,” Obama replied.
“They’re not being kept in Area 51. There’s no underground facility.”
Before he joked: “Unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
Obama quickly rowed back on his shock claims in Instagram statement, clarifying that “the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there”.
Former head of the UK government’s “UFO Desk” Nick Pope, who tragically died in April,
In one of his last interviews, he said: “There either is or isn’t a smoking gun in the files somewhere that will prove extraterrestrial visitation.
“From Roswell through to Rendlesham Forest to the infamous Tic-Tac encounter, it’s binary.
“If the US government is sitting on this it’s going to be the biggest story of all time.”
