Oti, known as Coco Trucker Girl, passed away on Monday after collapsing on her way home from a classic vehicle meet Alcañiz, Spain.

It’s understood she began suffering from severe headaches before fainting.

She was airlifted to hospital in Zaragoza, but soon after.

Oti, from Fornelos de Montes, had left behind her teenage dream of becoming a hairdresser to hit the open road, first climbing into a lorry at just 22 years old.

She later settled in Palencia, where her career as a truck driver took off — defying dozens of critics.

Oti was reportedly told by a teacher: “This isn’t for you.”

But her love for trucks saw her drive thousands of miles across Europe while simultaneously building an enormous following.

She once said: “I got into the lorry — and never got out.”

Through her videos, she celebrated the highs and hardships of life on the road – from long hauls to her signature “red-lip Fridays”, which became a rallying cry for female drivers.

She also used her platform to champion work-life balance and equal opportunities in the industry.

Following her death, tributes poured in from across Spain’s trucking community.

She was hailed as an “inspiration” and trailblazer for women in the industry.

The Spanish Confederation of Freight Transport said: “Oti was an inspiration to all of us, not just for the joy in her eyes, but for the passion with which she lived her profession and the way she inspired everyone around her.

“She paved the way for many women in the transport sector, proving that this world isn’t just for men.

“She did it by sharing her daily life on social media, spreading her energy and enthusiasm to everyone.

“She shared her optimism with us, lifted our spirits with her ‘red-lip Fridays’, and taught us an essential lesson: fight for what you love and always follow your own path.”

Her fans have flooded her final Instagram posts with heartbroken messages and emotional tributes.

One person said: “Rest in peace Coco, a hug to your family and friends, we are very sorry.”

Another follower wrote: “I started following her on Instagram because I saw her truck parked at La Cabrera’s restaurant.

I loved what she did. Wow, in the end you don’t know when life is going to hit you. Rest in peace.”

While a third wrote: “Your smile will remain indelible in our hearts.”
