Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have killed at least seven suspected Boko Haram terrorists in an ambush along the Mayanti Road in Dar El-Jamal, Borno State.

The development was disclosed in a post on Wednesday by security analyst and counterinsurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, via X.

According to the report, the ambush took place on Tuesday evening and led to the recovery of several bicycles and logistics items used by the terrorists.

In what appeared to be a retaliatory attack, suspected insurgents later stormed the Dar El-Jamal resettled village around 7:30 p.m. the same day, shooting sporadically.

However, a combined team of Nigerian Army troops, members of the Civilian Joint Task Force, CJTF, and local hunters swiftly responded and successfully repelled the assault, forcing the attackers to retreat in disarray.
