Manchester United striker, Rasmus Højlund, has said that his critics tend to forget he is only 22 years old.
Højlund also said he dreams of staying at Old Trafford.
He spoke to Daily Mail after helping Manchester United beat Bournemouth in a preseason friendly game on Wednesday.
“I am still very young, people sometimes forget that. I am only 22 years old,” he said.
“I have learned a lot, and I think that shows in my game. I have done very well so far during the pre-season... I want to stay here.
“I think my plan is very clear and that is for me to stay at Manchester United.
“I want to fight for my spot whatever happens.”
The striker, who joined Manchester United from Atalanta in the summer of 2023, is yet to live up to expectations.
