AC Milan has called off the deal for Nigeria international, Victor Boniface.

The Nigerian striker, according to Fabrizio Romano, failed his medicals at the San Siro during the weekend.

This is despite a verbal agreement for a €5 million loan fee and €24 million buy back clause between Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan in the last 48 hours.

The striker has returned to Germany as there’s still no green light on the move.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now reports that the deal has been called off as the striker did not pass his medical tests.

Bayer Leverkusen director Simon Rolfes had earlier told BILD, “If Boniface comes back to Leverkusen, the AC Milan deal will be over. That’s no big secret.

“Renegotiating the deal? I don’t think that will happen.

“His physical situation has improved compared to the beginning.”
