Transfer: Super Falcons striker joins Australian club, Melbourne City FC

Australian A-League Women’s champions Melbourne City FC have announced the signing of Super Falcons forward Chinaza Uchendu.

Uchendu linked up with Melbourne FC from French Feminine outfit, Nantes.

The 27-year-old has played for top clubs in Europe and Asia.

She won the league title during her stint in Turkey with Galatasaray. Uchendu has also played in Portugal, Sweden, South Korea, and her native Nigeria.

The versatile striker has been capped 10 times by Nigeria.
