Transfer: Super Falcons forward, Babajide set for Atletico Madrid move

Super Falcons forward, Rinsola Babajide is nearing a move to Spanish Liga F club Atletico Madrid.

Babajide is a free agent after leaving another Spanish club UD Tenerife.

The 27-year-old opted to leave Tenerife following the expiration of her contract.

The striker is seeking a fresh challenge after spending two years at the club.

Babajide joined Tenerife from Real Betis in 2023.

She scored 10 goals and registered five assists in 26 league outings for the modest side.

She is expected to be included in Super Falcons’ squad for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
