Bayer Leverkusen attacker Nathan Tella has told Liverpool fans what to expect from Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong .

Wirtz and Frimpong joined Liverpool from Leverkusen this summer, and Tella wants the fans to expect instant impact from the duo.

Tella told German outlet Rheinische Post Langenfeld, “They’re now playing in one of the best teams in the world.

“I don’t need to talk much about their abilities. Everyone has seen how good they are.

“Now it’s time for England to get to know them even better. I’m confident they can get even better, even if that seems almost impossible. We’ll see great games from them.”

Clubs such as Bayern Munich and Manchester City also sought to sign Wirtz from the German side before he joined the Premier League champions.

Liverpool paid a record £116 million to sign the Germany International.

He scored 16 goals and made 15 assists in 45 games across competitions for Bayer Leverkusen last season.

Frimpong on the other hand was signed as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who left Liverpool for Real Madrid.
