Transfer: Ryan Giggs hands Man Utd 10 signings to make

Published on May 13, 2025 at 12:23 PM

Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs has insisted that the club needs to sign 10 new players in the summer transfer window.

Giggs also said that bringing in the likes of Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap and Wolves’ Matheus Cunha this summer would be an improvement for the Red Devils.

Man United endured a disastrous 2024-25 Premier League campaign under manager Ruben Amorim.

They are currently in 16th position in the Premier League table with two matches left to conclude the season.

Speaking to the Webby & O’Neill show, Giggs said of Delap and Cunha: “It would be an improvement, most definitely.

“They both have Premier League experience, which is a massive plus. The domestic form has been nowhere good enough so they are proven already to do it, to score goals.

“So if you see those players (Delap and Cunha) come in you are going to get excited because it is an improvement and they are good players.”;;

“We do need nine or 10 players but we are not going to get them in this transfer window.

“That is the dilemma. Does Ruben Amorim have enough time to get his kind of players in that might take a couple of transfer windows? We need strikers. It is a joke Man United have only got one recognised striker, we have three or four in the past.

“Not only three or four, three or four quality centre forwards. So if you do get an injury, you do get a loss of form, you have got another player coming in.

“And if they are both on form they are pushing each other, so it is a win-win. That is going to take time. that is modern football, you don’t get it.”;;
