Manchester United have opened negotiations with RB Leipzig over a move for Benjamin Sesko, ESPN reports.
The Bundesliga club reportedly placed the price tag for the 22-year-old at between â¬80 million and â¬90m.
That range is likely to be too expensive for United, although they could discuss player swaps.
Sesko is also attracting interest from United’s Premier League rivals, Newcastle.
United have also shown interest in Ollie Watkins, who is 29-year-old, a cheaper option and Premier League proven.
But Aston Villa are insisting Watkins is not available this summer.
Sesko has scored 39 goals in 87 games for Leipzig since joining the club from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023.
