Chairman of Peterborough United Darragh MacAnthony, has described Tottenham striker Harry Kane as the greatest of all time.
He urged Manchester United to sign the England captain if they want to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
According to him, the Red Devils would be instant title contenders if they signed the Tottenham striker.
He insisted that spending £100million on the 29-year-old would be great value for what he could give Erik ten Hag’s team.
“If United want to enter the proper title race, they go and buy Kane,” MacAnthony told talkSPORT.
“That puts them right there straight away, they will become favourites with Man City to win the title if they go and get Harry Kane.
“Spending £100m for a striker who is going to be the GOAT – the greatest goalscorer of all time in the Premier League – is going to be value for money.
“He’s 29, so you’re going to get the best four years of his life, he will score 30 goals a season in that United side.
“Forget the guy from Atalanta who is untested in the Premier League – go and get the GOAT!”
