Irish football chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, has said that Chelsea could be Tottenham striker, Harry Kane’s next club.
The Peterborough Chairman admitted he would be amazed if Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino did not try to sign Kane for free next summer.
Kane was Pochettino’s main man during their time together at Tottenham before the Argentine boss was sacked from his position.
The England national team captain has just one year left on his contract with Tottenham and with no sign of an extension on the horizon, it means that a move could be on the cards.
So with Pochettino in charge of Chelsea, could the Blues be an unlikely destination for the striking sensation? MacAnthony thinks so
“In January I’d be amazed if Pochettino doesn’t do a pre-contract agreement with Kane.”
“That’s value for money for Chelsea!”
