Former Liverpool midfielder, Dietmar Hamann has said Victor Osimhen should consider joining Newcastle United if he eventually decides to leave Galatasaray.
Osimhen was strongly linked with Premier League clubs Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United in the past.
The Nigeria international however spent the 2024/25 season loan with Galatasaray, helping the Yellow and Reds win a domestic double.
The 27-year-old eventually joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer from Napoli last summer.
The forward has been linked with a move away from the Turkish Super Lig champions this summer.
Hamman believed Osimhen would be an instant hit in the Premier League.
“Liverpool already has two players in that position, so nothing will happen there for Osimhen.
“However, he has pace, power, and clinical finishing. If Newcastle United sells Nick Woltemade, Osimhen could be a perfect fit for them,” Hamman told the Metro.
