Transfer: Everton join race for Christantus Uche

Published on June 10, 2025 at 02:26 PM

Everton have joined the list of clubs interested in Getafe midfielder, Christantus Uche, DAILY POST reports.

A virtually unknown figure, Uche joined Getafe from the Spanish second-tier club, CD Ceuta last summer.

The 22-year-old quickly established himself as a key player for the Azulones.

The Nigerian contributed four goals and seven assists in 38 appearances for Jose Bordalas’ side.

His performances have drawn serious attention across Europe.

He has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, Newscastle United, Leeds United and Brentford.

Everton are expected to make a formal approach for Uche soon, according to Estadio Deportivo.
