Transfer: Aribo seeks Southampton exit, wants Rangers return

Nigeria midfielder, Joe Aribo is determined to leave Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton this summer.

The Saints were relegated from the Premier League for the third time in three seasons at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Aribo barely make the matchday squad in the latter stages of the campaign under interim manager Simon Rusk.

The 28-year-old has reportedly told Southampton he wants to leave the club this summer, according to the Daily Record.

The Nigeria international has set his sights on a return to his former club, Rangers.

Aribo left the Light Blues for the St Mary’s Stadium in 2022.

He is still a popular figure at the Ibrox after an impressive three year spell at the club.
