A transgender child rapist inundated a probation officer with phone calls from jail, threatening to stab “a group of men,” a court was informed.
Marcia Walker, 51, made the calls from within a high-security men's prison where she is incarcerated due to being deemed too dangerous for a women's facility.
She left four voicemails in which she threatened to “get a knife,” continuing a history of threats against prison staff and politicians.
In the past, she claimed she would place a nail bomb under a governor’s vehicle and have him shot, and she caused a disturbance at another prison by using the internal intercom to announce that a bomb would explode in the staff parking lot.
Additionally, she sent a letter stating that she had sent a bomb when she was Home Secretary.
She also assaulted a prison guard and threatened to kill another when her razors were taken away, preventing her from shaving.
These last offenses occurred at Frankland Prison, where her recent threats were also made; this facility houses other notorious inmates, including the Soham killer, ex-cop, and Milly Dowler murderer Levi Bellfield.
Walker, previously known as Mark Walker, admitted to sending a communication that threatened death or serious injury and was sentenced to nine months by Teesside magistrates.
The transgender inmate, who was sentenced to 13 years in 2003 for raping two girls, one of whom was just four years old, is legally recognized as female but cannot be housed in a women's prison due to her sex offense conviction.
She has been segregated at Frankland, meaning other male prisoners must remain in their cells for 45 minutes while she eats and washes alone.
A source previously informed The Sun: “There is considerable frustration at the prison, but it’s a Catch-22 situation.
“She must be treated as a woman but cannot be transferred to a female prison because she poses a risk. And since she is legally a woman, she must be kept separate from male inmates.”
