And with a new set of faithful and traitor players comes the show’s spin-off, Uncloaked, which is on BBC One.
Following the show’s launch episode, Uncloaked will air on BBC2, but in the week following will be a big shake up to TV schedules as the show moves to BBC One for the first time.
On the show,is joined by celebrities and players from previous series to analyse and react to the show.
He also gets to reveal to axed players who the Traitors really were.
With Claudia Winkleman returning to the helm of The Traitors, 22 people from around the UK will once again be competing for the chance to win a whopping £120,000.
They will battle it out at the imposing castle in the Scottish Highlands that has hosted the series since its inception.
The new series comes off the back of the success of the inaugural Celebrity Traitors season which saw comedian as a duplicitous Traitor.
An average of 11.1 million people tuned in to watch – a traitor from the very first episode – and with it £87,500 for his chosen charity.
In anticipation of the big day, the BBC released a teaser trailer for the new season.
It showed a shadowy figure in the iconic Traitors cloak carrying a lantern while walking outside at night.
A creepy cover of Blondie’s hit Heart of Glass played over the trailer as a graphic appeared towards the end.
“Coming 2026,” it read.
The Scottish castle has seemingly been fully booked, as the US series will also return in January.
It will feature , and Alan Cumming as the presenter.
