FORMER The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross has marked what would have been his late dad’s 63rd birthday with a moving tribute.
Ex has opened up on social media and reflected on his beloved dad’s memory with some powerful words.

The highlighted the poignant date and touched hearts with his candid words.
Commemorating the date – Monday 11th May – he shared a happy image on of his dad enjoying a drink in the sun alongside a white dove and olive branch emoji.
Alongside the snap, he posted: “Happy birthday Dad. Gone but never forgotten.”
In a following video, the reality star reflected: “It’s my dad’s birthday today so I’m always going to make sure his name lives on.
“Happy birthday Mick Norcross, the king of all kings.
“But I’m looking at everyone’s Instagram and it is just so negative nowadays.
“I go on social media for a little bit of a pick me up now and then when my life might be a little bit down.
“I go on and have a little laugh and a giggle on social media and every time I’m on Instagram it’s negative, negative, negative.

“If I can bring some positivity, if you are watching this video, you are lucky to have eyes.
“If you are listening, you are blessed to have ears. We are up, we are alive, we are healthy, we are living.
“You have got to count your blessings. I love you all, keep fighting, keep smiling.”
Club owner in January 2021 at the age of 57 after tragically taking his own life.
Kirk found his dad – who had – at his home in Essex and had tried to resuscitate him.
Dad-of-two Kirk previously opened up about his own mental health struggles and how he numbed his pain with drugs following Mick’s death.

He was subsequently diagnosed with and admitted how Mick’s suicide attributed to his relapse.
initially rose to fame on the reality series as one of the OG cast members in 2011 but left the programme after just two years.
He went on to appear in Celebrity and the 2015 series of MTV‘s but has shunned TV ever since.
Kirk is running the company, County Clear Waste, a same-day collection waste service based in both and .
He was one of the original TOWIE boys alongside , and James ‘Arg’ Argent when the show launched in 2010.
owned The Sugar Hut in Brentwood and for a time Kirk worked for the club promoting nights there.
He released his autobiography Essex Boy in April 2013.
